MANCASPAZIO
MANCASPAZIO is a small exhibition space in the historic centre of Nuoro, in the district of San Pietro, which houses some of the main places of cultural interest in the city: the home of the Nobel Prize winning writer Grazia Deledda, Casa Ciusa, Casa Chironi and until the nineties the famous Chironi Gallery88.
MANCASPAZIO, born in December 2018, the intent of the curator, Chiara Manca, is to bring art out of museums, creating a place of meeting and exchange between artists, collectors, performers, musicians, curators and users. The exhibitions range from visual poetry to historical Sardinian artists, passing through contemporary and artistic craftsmanship. Each exhibition is part of a project and is accompanied by a catalogue with the curators' texts, illustrated by Nelly Dietzel's photographs, translated into English by Shahrazad Hassan and graphically designed by Sara Manca.
